Meet Robert Sand and Mia Enslev – the creative forces behind our distinctive collections.

Robert Sand, the founder of Klitmøller Collective, was born and raised in the beautiful fishing village of Klitmøller. His background has deep roots in several generations with a close relationship to the sea, and that heritage is reflected in every single garment we make. Robert is involved in the whole design process from beginning to end, and he makes sure our story and our values are woven into every loop and every stitch. It is part of the foundation of Klitmøller Collective, and something we always navigate by.

At Robert’s side you will find Mia Enslev, our skilled head of design and production. Mia is the driving force behind the development of our products, and it is her vision that turns our styles into reality. If you love our latest collection – such as the Jimmy overshirt, the lovely Estelle sweater or our beautiful new colour palettes – then Mia is the one to thank!

Robert and Mia meet in our office, which sits next to our warehouse. Here they have direct access to our existing collections and the newest samples. Around them lie fabric swatches, colour cards and sketches – small pieces that slowly come together into the coming collections. Many of the ideas you will later see on the shelves are born here in this inspiring room, long before production begins.

Input from customers, suppliers and colleagues is turned over in the office, on walks and out on the blue waves of the sea, before it becomes something you can wear or surround yourself with at home.

At Klitmøller Collective it is about making clothes that not only dress you well, but also tell a story about our Nordic roots, with consideration for people and the environment, and about the love of the craft that goes into every garment.
